Competition Schedule Announced for Riyadh 2023 World Combat Games

Action-packed 10 days of World Combat Games set to unfold this October at the King Saud University Sports Arena

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – 1 August 2023: The Organising Committee of the Riyadh 2023 World Combat Games has confirmed the schedule for the upcoming tournament (20- 30 October). This occasion represents a significant milestone as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia earns the distinction of being the first Middle Eastern nation to host the esteemed multi-sport games.

The event, taking place at the Sports Arena at King Saud University in Riyadh, will welcome over 1,500 male and female athletes from more than 120 countries.

The tournament will kick-off with Boxing, Karate and Sambo bouts on the 20th and 21st of October. Sumo and Wushu competitions will take place from the 21st and 22nd October, with Judo matches lined up for the 23rd. Wrestling fans can anticipate electrifying matches from the 23rd to the 26th of October.

Jujitsu contests have been organised from the 24th to the 26th October, with Aikido matches slated for the 24th and 25th of October. Fans fond of Fencing and Kickboxing will be able to witness enthralling contests from the 25th to the 27th of October, Armwrestling from 27th to 28th, and Kendo from the 29th to 30th of October.

As the Riyadh 2023 World Combat Games draws to a close, the 11-day tournament will undoubtedly finish with thrilling competitions from Muaythai, Savate and Taekwondo from 28th to 30th October.
